THE HOSE CONNECTING THE FUEL PUMP TO THE FUEL FILER CAN COME OFF CAUSING A LCAK OF FUEL PRESSURE OT THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM.  THIS CAN PREVENT THE MOTORCYCLE FROM STARTING OR CAN CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL. Built 1998\-04\-01 to 1998\-10\-31.

On certain vehicles, the hose connecting the fuel pump to the fuel filter may come off causing a lack of fuel pressure to the fuel injection system.  This may prevent the motorcycle from starting or may cause the engine to stall.  Engine stalling while riding could disturb the rider's ability to control the motorcycle and could cause a crash without prior warning.  Correction: A redesigned fuel pump set will be installed on affected motorcycles.
