## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [18V694000](/recalls/nhtsa/18V694000.md), 2018-10-04: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP. Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. \(Suzuki\) is recalling certain 2017\-2018 Suzuki DL650A, DL650XA, GSX\-R1000, GSX\-R1000R, and 2018 GSX\-S750 motorcycles. During installation, the fuel pump O\-ring may have been twisted, reducing the sealing performance and possibly resulting in a fuel leak. Built 2017\-02\-02 to 2017\-09\-13.
- [18V064000](/recalls/nhtsa/18V064000.md), 2018-01-22: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE. Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. \(Suzuki\) is recalling certain 2017\-2018 GSX\-R1000, GSX\-R1000A, GSX\-R1000RA, and GSX\-R1000RZA motorcycles. When upshifting between first and second gear, if the rider fails to engage second gear, a neutral condition will exist and may cause very high engine RPM. If the rider then shifts into second gear without disengaging the clutch, the motorcycle’s chain may stretch or break. Built 2017\-02\-02 to 2017\-09\-15.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2018558](/recalls/tc/2018558.md), 2018-10-10: Fuel System. On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump O\-ring may have been twisted during installation and may not seal properly. This could result in a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel pump O\-ring and fuel tank inner vessel with improved parts.
- [2018055](/recalls/tc/2018055.md), 2018-01-26: Powertrain. On certain motorcycles, when upshifting between first and second gear, if the rider fails to engage second gear, a neutral condition will exist and continued opening of the throttle will cause very high engine RPM. If the rider then shifts into second gear without disengaging the clutch under the very high engine RPM condition, an excessive load can be applied to the powertrain, which can cause the drive chain to stretch and potentially come off or break resulting in a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealer will replace the Engine Control Module \(ECM\) with a reprogrammed unit and perform drive chain inspection. Based on the results of the drive chain inspection, replace the drive chain and sprocket, if necessary.
