In some cases, when using the Adaptive Cruise Control feature, the EyeSight system may stop functioning, enter a fail\-safe mode and store DTC B280B\- VDC ABNORMAL. When the EyeSight system is inoperative, the vehicle operates like a traditional vehicle not equipped with this feature. Normal EyeSight system function is restored after cycling the ignition off and back on again.
