19971471997-08-28. Steering. On certain vehicles, the pinion bearing cage in the steering gear could separate under high steering load conditions. This could result in the pinion gear disengaging from the rack, causing degradation or loss of steering control and could result in a crash without prior warning. Correction: Dealers will replace the manual steering gear assembly.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
