- [23V841000](/recalls/nhtsa/23V841000.md), 2023-12-13: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:CHARGING:CABLE/CORD:ONBOARD. Porsche Cars North America, Inc. \(Porsche\) is recalling various models and model years.  Please see the recall report for a list of the included vehicles.  When using the industrial 220V/240V plug at the 100% charge setting, some home power outlets may be incapable of handling the electrical current required to utilize the compact charging system, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2023662](/recalls/tc/2023662.md), 2023-12-13: Accessories. Issue: Under certain conditions, the 220 V vehicle charging cable plug could become damaged by the house power outlet. As a result, the charging cable could overheat while charging. Note: This recall only affects electric and plug\-in hybrid electric \(PHEV\) models.  Safety Risk: A charging cable that overheats could create a fire risk.  Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your 220 V vehicle charger to a dealership to replace the vehicle charging cable.
- [2022487](/recalls/tc/2022487.md), 2022-08-31: Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, covers were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters. As a result, the headlamps may be adjusted horizontally. Canadian regulations do not allow for horizontal headlamp adjustment unless the vehicle is equipped with a built\-in aiming device.  Safety Risk: Headlamps that are not properly adjusted could cause reduced visibility or glare for oncoming drivers, and increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install caps over the headlamp adjustment screws.
