Service bulletins for the 2014 Porsche Panamera
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
558 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| 122-D4S3S-01 | 2018-01-29. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Concern: On vehicles with a conventional drive system, the fuel that gets into the engine oil is evaporated by the high operating temperatures of the combustion engine. However, this fuelmight not evaporate fully due to the comparably low temperatures of the engine in hybrid mode on the affected vehicles. If the combustion engine does not reach a higher operating temperature for a long time, e.g. during frequent short trips, this can cause the oil level to increase to such an extent that the oil level measurement will activate the warning message "Oil level above maximum" in the instrument cluster. However, the functional properties of the engine oil are always guaranteed. |

| 122-L6Q4X-01 | 2017-12-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Symptom: The engine will not start at times and the fault code P0607 Control unit faulty is stored in the fault memory. Cause: The DME control unit can become damaged via the electric wires as a result of electrostatic discharge of the throttle housing. Date of Introduction: The optimized throttle housing with insulation has been installed during production since August 24, 2016. |
| 122-L4X2R-10 | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. There is a possibility that the function of the change-over valve for the sport exhaust system can fail as a result of water leaking in and causing corrosion. If this happens, the mode that was activated last will remain active. It will no longer be possible to switch between Sport and Normal mode in this case.In the event of a customer complaint or spare parts requirements for the change-over valve, the change-over valve and several individual components must be replaced - until such a time as the change-over valve becomes available as a repair kit, |
| 122-J8S9J-11 | 2017-10-15. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Customer complaint about loss of coolant, visible on the underside of the engine/where the vehicle was parked. Sometimes a yellow warning comes on in the instrument cluster with the information message? "Refill coolant Observe engine temperature". Component tolerances between the coolant pipe flange and distributor housing can cause leaks. |
| 122-Y6G5Z-11 | 2017-10-15. Service bulletin. ENGINE. The unwarranted errormessages "Hybrid system fault" and "Reduced engine power" can appear sporadically in the instrument cluster on the affected vehicles under certain driving conditions because the diagnostic function for the hybrid decoupler is too sensitive. If this happens, engine power will be reduced and the Check Engine light will be activated until the ignition is switched off and on again. |
| 122-C5K6F-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM. Concerns: Vent line for cooling system Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the vent line for the cooling system is not routed according to specifications on the affected vehicles. As a result, the vent line can become damaged over the service life of the vehicle. |
| 122-M8J2T-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ENGINE. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. Certain environmental conditions and the quality of fuel available in themarket can cause combustion residue to build up on the throttle valve on the affected vehicles over the service life of the vehicle. This can impair the diagnostic function for the throttle valve and as a result, the Check Engine warning light will be activated. |
| 122-N8Y2M-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM. Concerns: Vacuum lines for sound symposer Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the vacuum line on the change-over valve for the sound symposer can slip off on the affected vehicles due to relative movements of the engine. As a result, there is no guarantee that the sound symposer and other vacuum-controlled actuators on the engine will function correctly. This causes the warning message "Fault cooling system" to be displayed in the instrument cluster. |
| 122-C9F4B-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. New data records for the DME control unit are available for the affected vehicles. The new data records optimise the engine's knock control, thereby making it more resilient in terms of knock resistance, particularly for lower quality fuels. |
| 122-E7Q7N-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Concerns: Oil guide housing Information: Oil leak ("sweating", drops of oil) on engine in oil guide housing area We have discovered that the cause of some leaks in the specified area could not be detected and determined definitively in the dealer organisation when attempting to resolve the complaint "Oil leak"1 . As a result, some of the measures that were carried out were not always effective. |
| 122-J8S7Q-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Concerns: Power electronics for the high-voltage system Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. A fault can occur in the temperature monitoring system for the high-voltage system at low outside temperatures due to a software error in the power electronics. If this happens, the yellow warning message "Hybrid system fault" will be displayed in the instrument cluster and the performance of the electric motor will be reduced by up to 50%. But the vehicle can still be driven. |
| 122-L5V7C-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:HOSES/LINES/PIPING/FITTINGS; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER. Concerns: Retainer spring for pressure hose on the turbocharger Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the charge-air pressure hoses are not secured sufficiently to the turbochargers on the affected vehicles due to unfavorable tolerances. As a result, the pressure hoses can slip off the turbochargers |
| 122-Q5C4S-06 | 2017-07-28. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Issue: Oil in the wiring harness. Information: If oil is found in the engine wiring harness during a repair, the wiring harness and all the affected components (including the oil pump control valve) must be replaced. |
| TI-1-14 | 2014-05-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE. PORSCHE: INFORMATION CONCERNING A VOLUNTARY WORKSHOP CAMPAIGN TO REPROGRAM THE DME CONTROL UNIT IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE ENGINE RUNNING COMFORT AT IDLE SPEED OVER THE OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE. MODEL: PANAMERA S E-HYBRID MODEL YEAR:2014 . *JS |
