A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Frequent short trips and city driving can cause the warning ?Maximum oil level exceeded? to appear in theinstrument cluster. If the engine-oil level is increased, the implausible warning message "Below minimum oil level" can also be displayed if the oil level is outside of the measuring range detected by the oil level sensor. If an oil level warning message ("Maximum oil level exceeded" or "Below minimum oil level") appears in the instrument cluster, the current oil level must always be checked using the AfterSales Service dipstick before doing any other work,
122-B7U4T-052017-10-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY. Customer Concern: Certain vehicle systems have unwanted, unpredictable behavior. Technical Concern: The symptoms are difficult to diagnose. There may be multiple symptoms intermittently affecting multiple systems. Though this is not an exhaustive list, some common failure modes are: ? Start/stop issues ? Power windows not fully returning to the parked position after automatic preopening ? PCM audio stopping during a start/stop cycle Ultimately, the technician determines that low 12-volt battery voltage is the underlying root cause of the unwanted behavior. The technician corrects the battery?s low voltage. Consequently, the unwanted behavior ends.
