Service bulletins for the 2010 Porsche Panamera
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 122-P6P7K-10 | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. There is increased friction in the air spring compressor valves at temperatures below ?13° F (?25° C). This can result in a situation in which the maximum control current is not sufficient to actuate the valves. As a result, a warning message will be displayed in the instrument cluster and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) will stop working temporarily. Re-program PASM control unit using the PIWIS Tester with software version 33.010.030 (PIWIS Tester 3) or version 17.100.030 (PIWIS Tester II) or a higher software version installed. |
| 122-L4X2R-10 | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. There is a possibility that the function of the change-over valve for the sport exhaust system can fail as a result of water leaking in and causing corrosion. If this happens, the mode that was activated last will remain active. It will no longer be possible to switch between Sport and Normal mode in this case.In the event of a customer complaint or spare parts requirements for the change-over valve, the change-over valve and several individual components must be replaced - until such a time as the change-over valve becomes available as a repair kit, |
| 122-J8L3U-08 | 2017-10-25. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Concerns: PDK transmission/control unit for PDK transmission Information: Procedure and repairmeasures in the event of complaints relating to PDK: ? Gearbox emergency operation/other warning messages ? Fault memory entries in the fault memory of the PDK control unit ? Leaks on the PDK transmission ? Complaints relating to comfort ? Complaints relating to noises |
| 122-B7U4T-05 | 2017-10-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY. Customer Concern: Certain vehicle systems have unwanted, unpredictable behavior. Technical Concern: The symptoms are difficult to diagnose. There may be multiple symptoms intermittently affecting multiple systems. Though this is not an exhaustive list, some common failure modes are: ? Start/stop issues ? Power windows not fully returning to the parked position after automatic preopening ? PCM audio stopping during a start/stop cycle Ultimately, the technician determines that low 12-volt battery voltage is the underlying root cause of the unwanted behavior. The technician corrects the battery?s low voltage. Consequently, the unwanted behavior ends. |
| 122-H7B7W-09 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Information: Very small leaks may not be found on a normal inspection. Extra effort to locate these leaks is required. |
| 122-E5F6L-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Power distributor Information: In the event of complaints relating to the overall power supply on the vehicle and if "Connections in power distributor corroded"? is discovered as the cause of the fault, the cover on the power distributor (? Figure 1) must be sealed using new sealant. Complaints can include various malfunctions in the vehicle electrics (fault in PCM, failure of power windows or similar problems) or various error messages displayed in the instrument cluster. |
| 122-M8J2T-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ENGINE. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. Certain environmental conditions and the quality of fuel available in themarket can cause combustion residue to build up on the throttle valve on the affected vehicles over the service life of the vehicle. This can impair the diagnostic function for the throttle valve and as a result, the Check Engine warning light will be activated. |
| 122-S9G7U-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Power distributor (? Installation position of power distributor) Information: In the event of complaints relating to the overall power supply on the vehicle and if a "corroded pin in the power distributor" is determined as the cause of the problem, the pin (? Item 1 is old style) must be replaced. |
| 122-M7V3V-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Concerns: Heat shield (also referred to as tunnel heat shield) Information: Modified heat shield If the cardan shaft needs to be replaced, the type of heat shield installed must be checked. Depending on which type is installed, the heat shield may have to be replaced. |
| 122-M6M7G-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Front-end electronics control unit Rear-end electronics control unit (only for model year 2012 vehicles) Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. New data records for the front-end electronics and rear-end electronics control units are available for the affected vehicles. |
| 122-U3T2C-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Various issues can occur in the PCM integrated systemon the affected vehicles, depending on vehicle equipment. |
| 122-F4A6H-06 | 2017-08-01. |
| 122-W5A8M-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Wire harness for engine Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is the possibility that moisture can get into the ground splice connections in the wire harness for the engine. As a result, ground splice connections can become corroded over the service life of the vehicles. This can cause signal faults in the oil pressure, oil level and oil temperature sensors, and therefore cause the Check Engine warning light to be activated. |
| 122-E7T5N-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concern: Power steering lines may be leaking at the power steering rack. Work Procedure: The power steering lines at the steering rack may leak due to a damaged o-ring(s). The o-ring damage results from an imperfection in the line. Replacing the o-rings alone is not sufficient to repair the concern; the line must be replaced as well. Note however that it is not necessary to replace the steering rack. |
