Service bulletins for the 2010 Porsche Panamera

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

465 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

122-L6P5E-072019-07-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Request for dealers to remove Special Tool VAS 6839 from High Voltage tool box because the unit could give erroneous voltage readings. PAG has decided that VAS 6558A could be used in its place.
122-H5U6B-062019-06-24. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Technical Bulletin detailing new Special Tool, Flexray Vehicle Network Tester, which is now a required tool to communicate with the vehicles modules and the Porsche in-house tester known as the PIWIS Tester III.
122-F9S5J-092018-11-19. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Cause The control unit for the auxiliary alarm system has limited bus communication. Date of Introduction Control units for the auxiliary alarm system with updated software have been used in production since the beginning of December 2017.
122-P5G7U-072018-08-06. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING; ENGINE. Oil in the wiring harness. If oil is found in the engine wiring harness during a repair, the wiring harness and all the affected components (including the oil pump control valve) must be replaced.
122-T7Y5Q-122017-12-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Information: This document updates information previously published in EQ 1105, EQ 1105, and EQ 1401. To provide stable voltage and sufficient current throughout certain service operations, you should connect the vehicle to a battery charger (sometimes referred to as a power supply). However, you may experience ECU programming and coding issues if the chosen battery charger has insufficient power. Many workshop manuals currently advise use of a battery charger with a 40 or 70 A current rating. However, with the increasing current requirements of modern Porsche vehicles, we recommend a battery charger capable of producing a minimum current of 90 A.
122-P6P7K-102017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. There is increased friction in the air spring compressor valves at temperatures below ?13° F (?25° C). This can result in a situation in which the maximum control current is not sufficient to actuate the valves. As a result, a warning message will be displayed in the instrument cluster and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) will stop working temporarily. Re-program PASM control unit using the PIWIS Tester with software version 33.010.030 (PIWIS Tester 3) or version 17.100.030 (PIWIS Tester II) or a higher software version installed.
122-B7U4T-052017-10-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY. Customer Concern: Certain vehicle systems have unwanted, unpredictable behavior. Technical Concern: The symptoms are difficult to diagnose. There may be multiple symptoms intermittently affecting multiple systems. Though this is not an exhaustive list, some common failure modes are: ? Start/stop issues ? Power windows not fully returning to the parked position after automatic preopening ? PCM audio stopping during a start/stop cycle Ultimately, the technician determines that low 12-volt battery voltage is the underlying root cause of the unwanted behavior. The technician corrects the battery?s low voltage. Consequently, the unwanted behavior ends.
122-E5F6L-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Power distributor Information: In the event of complaints relating to the overall power supply on the vehicle and if "Connections in power distributor corroded"? is discovered as the cause of the fault, the cover on the power distributor (? Figure 1) must be sealed using new sealant. Complaints can include various malfunctions in the vehicle electrics (fault in PCM, failure of power windows or similar problems) or various error messages displayed in the instrument cluster.
122-S9G7U-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Power distributor (? Installation position of power distributor) Information: In the event of complaints relating to the overall power supply on the vehicle and if a "corroded pin in the power distributor" is determined as the cause of the problem, the pin (? Item 1 is old style) must be replaced.
122-M6M7G-062017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Front-end electronics control unit Rear-end electronics control unit (only for model year 2012 vehicles) Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. New data records for the front-end electronics and rear-end electronics control units are available for the affected vehicles.
122-U3T2C-062017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Concerns: Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 3.1 Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. Various issues can occur in the PCM integrated systemon the affected vehicles, depending on vehicle equipment.
122-F4A6H-062017-08-01.
122-W5A8M-062017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Wire harness for engine Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is the possibility that moisture can get into the ground splice connections in the wire harness for the engine. As a result, ground splice connections can become corroded over the service life of the vehicles. This can cause signal faults in the oil pressure, oil level and oil temperature sensors, and therefore cause the Check Engine warning light to be activated.
122-E7T5N-062017-08-01. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: DME, PDK and PSM control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles.
