Service bulletins for the 2018 Porsche 911

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

122-C7B2H-012019-02-25. Service bulletin. WHEELS; EQUIPMENT. Subject: Magnesium wheels Information: The demand for the equipment option "Weissach package" was significantly higher than originally calculated. This resulted in supply bottlenecks, for example, for the supplier of the magnesium wheels contained in this package.
122-R2H3S-092018-11-19. Service bulletin. WHEELS. Information: Due to an allocation error in the parts list, the affected vehicles with the optional Touring package (I-no. 039) were supplied with front covers (fins) and these were fitted in the front wheel housing during the sales check although the covers were not intended for this optional equipment. Installation of the covers can cause a slight change in GT3 Touring-specific vehicle handling. Remedial Action: To ensure customer satisfaction and standardize the standard version, the following steps must be carried out: Checking presence of front covers (fins) and removing if necessary ? Replacing both front wheel housing liners (rear part) (only if required) ? Replacing front underbody cover (only if required)
122-Y9K4F-092018-11-19. Service bulletin. WHEELS. Symptom: During and after race track use, loud noises can sometimes come from the wheel assembly on the rear axle - particularly on bends. Cause: Particles of dirt on the contact surfaces can cause micro-movements in the wheel assembly on the rear axle (rim/brake disc/wheel hub) and this can result in loud noises. Remedial Action: In the event of a customer complaint, clean the wheel assembly on the rear axle as described under "Work Procedure".
122-V7S2D-042018-04-23. Service bulletin. WHEELS. Concern: Approval status: January 2018 Sizes: Permissible tire and wheel sizes
