## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2019621](/recalls/tc/2019621.md), 2019-12-11: Other. Issue: On certain cars, the owner's manual may be missing instructions on how to properly install a child seat. Safety Risk: If a user does not understand how to properly install a child seat, there could be an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your car to a dealer to receive a supplementary owner's manual booklet with the missing information.
- [2014498](/recalls/tc/2014498.md), 2014-11-03: Structure. On certain vehicles the front hood lock may have been improperly manufactured. The front hood lock upper components, on which the catch bar are riveted to the mounting plate, were not produced according to specifications. This could result in the hood opening unexpectedly while the vehicle is being driven. This could compromise the driver’s ability to see the road and its users, as well as cause damage to the windshield, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the upper part of the lock on the front hood.
- [2014055](/recalls/tc/2014055.md), 2014-02-25: Powertrain. On certain vehicles, engine connecting rod bolts may loosen, causing engine crankcase damage and oil leakage. This may pose a risk of fire, which could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install replacement engines equipped with updated connecting rod bolts.
- [2013351](/recalls/tc/2013351.md), 2013-10-09: Airbag. On certain vehicles, a defective wiring harness in the passenger seat may result in the deactivation of the passenger side frontal and knee airbags, illuminating the airbag warning lamp. Failure of the passenger airbags to deploy during a crash \(where deployment is warranted\) could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the passenger seat in affected vehicles.
