# Recalls that may apply to the 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [15V519000](/recalls/nhtsa/15V519000.md), 2015-08-14: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS. General Motors LLC \(GM\) is recalling certain model year 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, 2006\-2009 Buick LaCrosse, 2006\-2007 Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT, GMC Envoy XL, 2006\-2008 Isuzu Ascender, and Saab 9\-7x vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the headlamp driver module \(HDM\) may overheat and fail, causing the headlamps and daytime running lights to not illuminate. Built 2006\-04\-12 to 2007\-04\-25.
- [14V400000](/recalls/nhtsa/14V400000.md), 2014-07-03: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION. This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob \(if applicable\), should also be removed from the key ring. General Motors LLC \(GM\) notified the agency on July 3, 2014, that they are recalling 5,877,718 model year 2000\-2005 Chevrolet Impala and Monte Carlo, 1997\-2003 Chevrolet Malibu, 2004\-2005 Malibu Classic, 1999\-2004 Oldsmobile Alero, 1998\-2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue, 1999\-2005 Pontiac Grand Am and 2004\-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix vehicles. In these models, the weight on the key ring and/or road conditions or some other jarring event may cause the ignition switch to move out of the run position, turning off the engine.
- [06V419000](/recalls/nhtsa/06V419000.md), 2006-10-31: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE. ON CERTAIN VEHICLES, THE FUEL TANK IS MISSING THE ADHESIVE LAYER THAT BONDS THE BARRIER LAYER TO THE OUTER SHELL OF THE FUEL TANK. Built 2006\-08\-01 to 2006\-08\-31.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2015365](/recalls/tc/2015365.md), 2015-08-12: Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, the headlamp driver module \(HDM\) may not operate properly in high underhood temperatures. If the HDM is not operating correctly, the low\-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps could fail to illuminate. Loss of daytime running lamps and low\-beam headlamps could result in decreased driver's vision, as well as rendering the vehicle less visible to other motorists, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the headlamp relay \(HDM\) located in the underhood bussed electrical centre \(UBEC\). Note: this condition does not affect the high\-beam headlamps, marker lamps, turn signals, or fog lamps. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2014\-535.
- [2014284](/recalls/tc/2014284.md), 2014-07-03: Electrical. On certain vehicles, a defect in the ignition switch could allow the switch to move out of the "run" position if the key ring is carrying added weight or the vehicle goes off\-road or is subjected to some other jarring event. If this were to occur, engine power, power steering and power braking would be affected, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. The timing of the key movement out of the “run” position, relative to the activation of the sensing algorithm of the crash event, may also result in the airbags not deploying in a subsequent collision, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: For each key, dealers will install two key rings and modify the key ring opening shape. Note: Until the correction is performed, all items should be removed from the key ring.
- [2006287](/recalls/tc/2006287.md), 2006-10-31: Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the fuel tank is missing an adhesive layer that bonds the barrier layer to the outer shell of the tank. With this condition, fuel and/or fuel vapours could seep out between the layers. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the fuel tank.
