Recalls that may apply to the 1984 Peugeot 505

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
84V1510001984-11-26. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:FILLER PIPE AND CAP. THE FUEL CAPS ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES DO NOT SEAL PROPERLY AND ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 301, "FUEL SYSTEM INTEGRITY." CONTACT WITH FUEL CAUSES THE FUEL CAP GASKET TO SWELL, PREVENTING ADEQUATE SEALING BETWEEN CAP AND FILLER OPENING. Built 1983-06-01 to 1984-06-01.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
19850051985-01-03. SEDANS AND STATION WAGONS. THESE VEHICLES WERE BUILT WITH FUEL CAPS THAT HAVE A POTENTIAL FOR LEAKING. THIS COULD RESULT IN THE VEHICLES NOT MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF C.M.V.S.S. 301 - FUEL SYSTEM INTEGRITY.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
