## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2003089](/recalls/tc/2003089.md), 2003-03-31: Suspension. On certain vehicles, the ArvinMeritor FF98X series non\-drive steer axle hubs may contain defects that could cause premature spalling of the affected bearings and eventually lead to a break down of the bearing. Correction: Dealer will replace the hub assembly.
- [2001218](/recalls/tc/2001218.md), 2001-08-27: Steering. Certain heavy duty trucks equipped with TRW tie rod ends on certain meritor axles. The tie rod and drag link ball stud ends contain bearings that are below the specified case depth and/or hardness. This can lead to premature wear with possible separation of the ball stud from the socket, increasing the risk of loss of control of the vehicle. Correction: dealers will remove and replace all affected tie rods and drag links with different designed ends.
- [2001168](/recalls/tc/2001168.md), 2001-06-25. On certain vehicles equipped with Meritor FG941 front axles and manufactured between August 20, 1996 and April 4, 2001 steer axles the GAWR is overstated on the vehicle certification label. Correction: Dealers will assign the correct weight rating or change the necessary components to meet the currently assigned weight rating.
- [2001175](/recalls/tc/2001175.md), 2001-06-11: Structure. On certain vehicles, a change in the internal linkage of cab doors has created a possible binding condition. If the linkage binds, full engagement of the door latch may not occur, allowing the door to open inadvertently. Correction: Dealers will modify the door linkage to correct the potential of binding.
- [2001106](/recalls/tc/2001106.md), 2001-05-17: Steering. Certain vehicles equipped with TRW brand tie rod model number 24\-DL. The tie rod ball\-socket bearings have a below specification case depth and/or hardness, which can lead to premature wear of the socket. If this condition occurs, the driver can lose partial control of the right front wheel, possibly resulting in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective ball sockets and/or drag links.
