## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2020148](/recalls/tc/2020148.md), 2020-04-07: Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain trucks, the warning light for the tractor anti\-lock brake system \(ABS\) may not turn on if the system loses power. If this happens, the driver will not get warning that the ABS is not working properly. Note: This problem would also cause the traction control \(TC\) and electronic stability control \(ESC\) lights not to turn on. Safety Risk: If a driver is not warned that the ABS is not working properly, there could be an increased risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to update the software for the cab control module \(CECU\).
- [2018527](/recalls/tc/2018527.md), 2018-09-25: Fuel System. On certain trucks built with a Cummins X15 or ISX15 engine equipped with nylon fuel lines and a banjo bolt on the fuel pump, a blockage in the fuel cooling system may cause a fuel line to burst. This could result in a significant fuel leak onto the roadway, which would create a road hazard for other motorists. Additionally, this condition could also cause an engine stall without warning, without the ability to restart the engine. Both of these conditions may increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Cummins\-authorized dealers will replace the affected nylon line with a steel line.
- [2018389](/recalls/tc/2018389.md), 2018-07-24: Brakes. Certain vehicles may fail to conform to the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(CMVSS\) 121 \- Air Brake Systems and CMVSS 136 \- Electronic Stability Control Systems for Heavy Vehicles. In the event that the anti\-lock brake system \(ABS\) loses battery and/or ignition power to the controller, the ABS indicator lamp may not illuminate to warn the driver of the loss of ABS, which is contrary to the requirements of the standards. This could result in the loss of ABS function with no warning to the driver, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the cab control module.
- [2017361](/recalls/tc/2017361.md), 2017-07-20: Fuel System. On certain vehicles equipped with Cummins ISX 15 engines and certain fuel pumps, the drive gear on the fuel pump may spin loose on the drive shaft. This could result in a loss of pumping function, which could result in an engine stall without warning and not being able to be restarted, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Cummins\-authorized dealers will replace the fuel pump.
- [2016603](/recalls/tc/2016603.md), 2016-12-02: Brakes. On certain vehicles, the stop lamps may fail to activate due to a defective weld and incomplete circuit within the stop lamp switch. If the stop lamp switch fails during the application of the service brakes, the brake lights on the vehicle and trailer will not illuminate, thereby increasing the possibility of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace any 08\-01760 stop lamp switches with a suspect date code \(1056, 1026, 0821, 1386 and 1456\).
- [2016289](/recalls/tc/2016289.md), 2016-06-08: Engine. On certain vehicles, the Engine Control Module \(ECM\) may develop an internal electrical short circuit that could blow a fuse in the ECM's electrical supply circuit. This could cause the engine to stall without warning and prevent the vehicle from being restarted. Engine stalling without warning would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the ECM.
