## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2015095](/recalls/tc/2015095.md), 2015-03-05: Label. Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 120 \- Tire Selection and Rims. The tire information label may indicate incorrect tire pressure, understated by 5 PSI, or a tire/rim/inflation pressure combination for which the maximum GAWR is slightly below the GAWR of the vehicle. Underinflated tires may not be capable of supporting the maximum load as reflected by the GAWR and GVWR specified on the certification label, which could cause tire failure resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Manufacturer will mail new tire and rims certification label.
- [2011087](/recalls/tc/2011087.md), 2011-02-25: Engine. On certain vehicles equipped with a PACCAR MX engine, the oil module centrifugal spinner filter cap may become loose, possibly allowing the cap to come off and engine oil to partially discharge from the oil module onto nearby exhaust components. The discharge of engine oil onto hot exhaust components could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will re\-torque the oil module filter cap and install a secondary retention device on the secondary centrifugal spinner filter cap.
- [2007380](/recalls/tc/2007380.md), 2007-11-29: Fuel System. On certain vehicles equipped with Caterpillar C7 and C9 diesel engines, fuel pump failure can dilute the engine oil with fuel and cause the turbocharger to fail, leading to a loss of throttle control and excessive smoke. Either condition could result in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Authorized Caterpillar dealers will replace the fuel pump.
- [2007145](/recalls/tc/2007145.md), 2007-05-08: Fuel System. On certain trucks, when the ignition key is in the 'ON' position, the pre\-heater, located in the fuel filter base, is energized. If this pre\-heater is energized while maintenance is being performed on the fuel filter, diesel fuel could ignite within the filter housing. A fire within the fuel filter housing may spread possibly resulting in property damage or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the fuel heater assembly.
- [2006369](/recalls/tc/2006369.md), 2006-12-21: Suspension. On certain trucks, components used to attach the air suspension to the axle may contain elevated amounts of copper. The elevated copper content could result in component failure, which could cause erratic vehicle handling and a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace any suspect part with an updated version made with the correct metallurgical composition.
