SENTRA, VERSA SEDAN, AND VERSA NOTE; CVT FLUID LEAK SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION CVT related fluid leaks may be diagnosed incorrectly upon initial inspection causing incorrect parts replacement such as oil pan gaskets, axle seals, etc. To help reduce/eliminate the possible return of an applied vehicle, first check for leakage around the CVT fluid charging pipe. When leakage is determined to be coming from the base of the CVT fluid charging pipe, remove it to inspect, and if necessary, replace the O-ring. If needed, CVT leak inspection dye may be used to determine the source of the leak. - Refer to NTB09-140. See example photos on pages 2 and 3.

VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN 2012 ? 2017 VERSA SEDAN; ECM REPROGRAM INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific model year 2012-2017 Versa Sedan vehicles that are currently registered in the states of Arizona or Nevada. The Engine Control Module (ECM) software will be reprogrammed. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PM827 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.

CAMPAIGN BULLETIN Engine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram Regional (NV & AZ) Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Regional Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) on affected vehicles currently registered in Nevada and Arizona. The current programming may cause the air/fuel ratio to become excessively rich resulting in engine stop under certain high temperature and high altitude conditions. In addition, Nissan is asking dealers to inspect and, if necessary, replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve on certain 2013-14 Nissan Sentra vehicles. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.D. Due to the various models involved and the associated responsible manufacturing location of origin, there are three (3) separate campaign IDs with unique Campaign Bulletins for each model: - PC633 - PM827 - P8325 New vehicles in dealer inventory can be also be identified using DCS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information NOTE: These campaigns are state-specific and limited to vehicles that are currently registered, or previously registered, in the state of Nevada or Arizona only. 2. Nissan requests dealers repair any affected vehicles in retailer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use the appropriate repair bulletin for the applicable model as listed below to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealer should submit a warranty claim and release the vehicle.

PM6732017-10-25. Service bulletin. AIR BAGS. Driver & Passenger Inflator Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative Update ***** Collection Initiative Summary ***** Nissan launched a special parts collection activity on May 10, 2017 to replace the front driver and passenger Takata air bag inflators free of charge on specific MY2014-15 Versa (N17) vehicles registered in following states; Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. NOTE: Customers were informed that this parts collection activity was time-limited. Nissan communicated this activity would end once a sufficient number of in-use inflators had been collected. Nissan has collected a sufficient number of parts for this particular zone and will now close the initiative. Nissan wants to inform dealers that PM673 will conclude on August 7, 2017. The parts collection initiative will continue until August 7, 2017 in order to allow dealers sufficient time to complete any previously scheduled repairs. Dealers should not schedule any appointments beyond August 7, 2017 for this state specific collection activity. Once all collection activities have concluded, Nissan will request return of any unused parts with a separate communication. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Service Comm will deactivate PM673 on any unrepaired VINs on August 7, 2017. Dealers should complete previously scheduled appointments at this time and not continue to complete or schedule additional vehicles beyond August 7, 2017. 2. Dealers should submit any open claims for this collection activity by August 7, 2017. 3. Dealers may continue to use NTB17-049 to service any previously scheduled vehicles subject to this activity until August 7, 2017.
NTB17-0422017-10-25. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. VERSA SEDAN, VERSA NOTE, AND MICRA SQUEAK IN FRONT SUSPENSION WHEN DRIVING OVER BUMPS IF YOU CONFIRM Squeak noise coming from the stabilizer bushings (see Figure 1) while driving over bumps at slow speeds, NOTE: To confirm the squeak is coming from the stabilizer bushing, it may be necessary to: a. Disconnect the stabilizer connecting rod from the stabilizer bar ? both sides (see Figure 1). b. Drive the vehicle slowly over bumps to confirm the squeak is eliminated. ACTION Replace both stabilizer bushings. - Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section FSU-Front Suspension, for stabilizer bushing replacement. - Stabilizer bushings are listed in the Parts Information.
