NTB13015A2021-05-10. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. SERVICE INFORMATION DTC B2190 (NATS ANTENNA AMP) can be stored for the following reasons: 1. Something other than an Intelligent Key is inserted into the Key-Slot. 2. An Intelligent Key issue. 3. A wiring issue between the Key-Slot and the BCM. 4. A Key-Slot issue. If DTC B2190 is stored due to 1 or 2 above, it will not erase, or go to "PAST", until a known good registered Intelligent Key is inserted into the Key-Slot. SERVICE INFORMATION If the Audio Unit needs to be replaced in an Applied Vehicle for any reason: - Replace the Audio Unit as instructed in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). - Register the replacement Audio Unit serial number with Nissan Owner Services. IF YOU CONFIRM The audio display is blank, the unit appears to be turned off and none of the buttons or controls will respond. and Disconnecting then reconnecting the vehicle battery restores correct audio operation. ACTION Check the audio head unit software versions with the procedure on page 3. * If the head unit software versions are not the same as TABLE A, reprogram the audio system software with procedure on page 4. * If the head unit software versions are the same as in TABLE A, this bulletin does not apply. SERVICE INFORMATION The purpose of this bulletin is to clarify language contained in the owner?s manual language for the APPLIED VEHICLES. For the APPLIED VEHICLES, the below language supersedes similar language in existing owner?s manuals. Future printings of owner?s manuals for the APPLIED VEHICLES will also contain the below language. For the APPLIED VEHICLES: NISSAN recommends using Genuine NISSAN NS-3 CVT Fluid ONLY in NISSAN CVTs. Do not mix with other fluids. Do not use Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) or Manual Transmission fluid in a NISSAN CVT, as it may damage the CVT. Damage caused by the use of fluids other than as recommended is not covered under NISSAN's New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Using fluids that are not equivalent to Genuine NISSAN NS-3 CVT Fluid may also damage the CVT. NTB13077A2021-05-10. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:CVT. SERVICE INFORMATION Applied vehicles equipped with a CVT have a "cap" that appears to be a fluid level gauge. This "cap" will NOT have a gauge or "dipstick". This is normal. Do NOT replace the "cap" because it is thought to have a "dipstick". The fluid level is not checked from this location. The fluid level for applied vehicles is checked from the oil pan (refer to the appropriate section of the Electronic Service Manual [ESM]). Whenever checking, filling, or topping off a CVT's fluid level of an applied vehicle for any reason, use the procedure outlined in the appropriate section of the ESM. SERVICE INFORMATION Related to communication codes U1000, U1001, U1002, U1010: - Always diagnose the communication codes first. - When a module reports a U1000 code, it is typically operating normally; however, there is a communication error external to that module on the CAN network. - U1000 indicates an error. V-CAN diagram or CAN Diag Support Monitor provides data to determine the location of the error. See this bulletin for more information.
