ENGINE; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. 2016 - 2018 TITAN XD; DEF SYSTEM PARTS AVAILABILITY This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a Cummins 5.0L V8 diesel engine. SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing any Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system component, refer to Table A below. These parts are now available separately. Do not replace the entire DEF tank assembly if the required part is shown in Table A.
NTB19-0072019-02-19. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; ENGINE. 2016-2019 TITAN XD DIESEL; FUEL FILTER MAINTENANCE This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a Cummins 5.0L V8 diesel engine. SERVICE INFORMATION The Stage 1 and Stage 2 fuel filters must be replaced every 10,000 miles or a restriction may develop. DTCs P008A, P00C6, P0087 and/or a whining noise from the Stage 1 Fuel Filter Module may be present due to a restriction in the Stage 1 and/or Stage 2 fuel filters. NOTE: An inoperable or whining Stage 1 Fuel Filter Module that has not had the fuel filters regularly replaced as per the Owner?s Manual Maintenance schedule is not a warrantable repair. Before proceeding with any fuel system restriction diagnosis: - Confirm that both of the vehicle?s Stage 1 and Stage 2 fuel filters have been replaced at the correct service intervals, as per the Owner?s Manual Maintenance schedule. IMPORTANT: Warranty claim submissions for a Stage 1 Fuel Filter module will be denied if the Stage 1 and/or Stage 2 fuel filters have not been replaced per the Owner's Manual maintenance schedule.

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. 2016-2018 TITAN XD; STAGE 1 AND STAGE 2 FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing the Stage 1 or Stage 2 fuel filters, it is important not to damage the new fuel filters, inner seals, or O-rings. Refer to the Service Procedure section of this bulletin or the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) ENGINE> FUEL SYSTEM> CUMMINS 5.0L> REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION to ensure the filters are being replaced correctly. P008A LOW FUEL PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM and/or a no start condition may occur if the procedure is not followed properly.

IF YOU CONFIRM An applied vehicle?s idle fluctuates after starting when: - The coolant temperature is between 68°F (20°C) and 104°F (40°C) and - The vehicle is not moving (0 MPH). NOTE: This incident may continue until the coolant temperature reaches 104°F (40°C). ACTION 1. Save Computer Data with CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus). 2. IF YOU CONFIRM The coolant heater (block heater) needs to be replaced based on the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) inspection, and The vehicle is currently equipped with a coolant heater (with attached cord) located in the front engine cover. NOTE: - This bulletin does not apply if the vehicle is equipped with a coolant heater located in the water inlet at the lower radiator hose. - Refer to the ESM, section CO ? Engine Cooling System, for coolant heater operation and inspection information. ACTION 1. Use the Service Procedure in this bulletin to install a new coolant heater, locating it in the water inlet at the lower radiator hose. 2. Cut the cord to the original coolant heater.

NISSAN; DIAGNOSIS INFORMATION FOR ABS DTC C1130 SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing for DTC C1130 (ENGINE SIGNAL): ECM related DTCs (P-codes) must be diagnosed, repaired, and DTCs erased first. - DTC C1130 is an ABS DTC that indicates an output signal of the ECM is not recognized. - Absent or incorrect ECM signals, that are indicated by corresponding P-codes, may trigger C1130 in the ABS control unit. - Some vehicle features that can be affected by absent or incorrect ECM signals are: - Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) - Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) - VDC/ABS/TCS
