- [21V402000](/recalls/nhtsa/21V402000.md), 2021-05-27: SUSPENSION:REAR:AXLE:SPINDLE; STEERING:LINKAGES:KNUCKLE:SPINDLE:ARM. Nissan North America, Inc. \(Nissan\) is recalling certain 2020 Nissan Murano, INFINITI QX60, 2021 Nissan GT\-R, INFINITI QX50, and Q50 vehicles.  The front steering knuckle or rear axle housing may have insufficient strength due to improper heat\-treatment.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2021334](/recalls/tc/2021334.md), 2021-05-28: Steering. Issue: On certain vehicles, the front steering knuckles may not have been properly heat\-treated. As a result, a strong impact \(such as hitting a curb\) could cause a steering knuckle to bend or break. If this happens, the steering wheel may become off\-center or there could be a loss of steering control and a wheel could separate.  Safety Risk: A loss of steering control and/or a wheel separation could increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle.  Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the production date on the casting stamp of the front steering knuckles. Parts that are affected by this problem will be replaced.
- [2021155](/recalls/tc/2021155.md), 2021-03-15: Other. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with a carbon fiber trunk, the emergency trunk release was not installed inside the trunk. This could prevent a person that is trapped inside the trunk from opening it.  Safety Risk: If a person is closed inside the trunk, they may not be able to get out. This could create a risk of injury.  Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install the trunk release mechanism.
