P9324 Altima Rea2019-11-08. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. Rear Lower Link Salt States Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain Model Year 2013 Nissan Altima vehicles in USA (high road salt usage states) and Model Year 2013 and 2014 Nissan Altima vehicles in Canada to replace the rear suspension lower link. On some affected vehicles, one of the rear lower suspension links may corrode and separate at the bushing joint area. Customers may notice a knocking or rattling noise from the rear of the vehicle or observe wheel misalignment on the rear wheel(s) if the link separates. Out of an abundance of caution, Nissan will conduct a proactive field action on vehicles currently or formerly registered in specific U.S. states with high road salt usage and in Canada. This activity will be launched to dealers in two (2) phases, beginning with Vermont, Ohio, and Wisconsin in the U.S. Nissan will launch Phase II in the first quarter of 2020 for remaining salt states (Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia). ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.D. P9324. 2. Dealers should repair any affected vehicles in retailer pre-owned inventory or vehicles taken on trade to help ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB19-082 to remedy any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle.

NTB14-060c2019-07-22. Service bulletin. ENGINE. ABNORMAL NOISE FROM FRONT ENGINE MOUNT SERVICE INFORMATION A two-piece design front engine mount is currently being used for the Applied Vehicles listed. A single thunk noise may be heard during the first few accelerations of the day from this type of mount, and is considered normal operation. The mount has also been designed with built-in free play that is normal. Under normal driving conditions: - A thunk noise may be heard during the first few accelerations of the day, And - Does not occur again, or at any other time. DO NOT REPLACE THE MOUNT: - If it has free play or a ?single event? thunk sound during the first few accelerations of the day. This is considered a normal characteristic of this type of engine mount. - Allowable free play (vertical movement) is 5 mm. - If a shift shock condition is present when shifting from Park into gear or between any combination of gears. This condition is due to transmission line pressure and not movement of the mount. - If a whistle type noise is heard. This is caused by a disconnected vacuum line. NOTE: Refer to the appropriate section of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) related to transaxles for further diagnostic information on shift shock. Warranty claims for front engine mount replacement due to a whistle noise or a mount that has 5 mm or less free play will be denied.

AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT FLASHING INDICATING SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE IF YOU CONFIRM The air bag warning light is flashing slowly (repeating 2 seconds ON, 2 seconds OFF). NOTE: If this should occur, the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit is in Diagnostic Mode and needs to be returned to User Mode. ACTION 1. Use CONSULT-III plus to check for Air Bag DTCs and perform repairs as needed. 2. Return the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit to User Mode.
