- [15V546000](/recalls/nhtsa/15V546000.md), 2015-08-31: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY; PARKING BRAKE. Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. \(Mitsubishi\) is recalling certain model year 2014\-2015 Lancer Evolution vehicles manufactured January 31, 2014, to September 5, 2014, and 2014\-2015 Lancer Ralliart vehicles manufactured February 3, 2014, to September 5, 2014. The affected turbocharged vehicles have a right parking brake cable that may contact the fuel tank, wearing away the tank's protective coating. Built 2014\-02\-03 to 2014\-09\-05.
- [14V281000](/recalls/nhtsa/14V281000.md), 2014-05-27: STEERING:HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST:HOSE, PIPING, AND CONNECTIONS. Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. \(Mitsubishi\) is recalling certain model year 2014 Lancer Evolution vehicles manufactured January 31, 2014, through February 21, 2014, and 2014 Lancer Ralliart vehicles manufactured February 3, 2014, through February 14, 2014. The affected vehicles may have insufficient clearance between the power steering pressure tube and the crossmember brace. Built 2014\-02\-03 to 2014\-02\-14.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2018588](/recalls/tc/2018588.md), 2018-10-26: Visual System. On certain vehicles, water may drain from the windshield cowl area onto the front wiper link ball joint. Over time, this could result in corrosion and/or wear to the joint, which could result in the separation of the wiper link ball. If separation were to occur, the windshield wipers could become inoperative, which could limit the driver’s visibility under certain operating conditions which may increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the wiper link rod with a countermeasure one, and will replace the wiper motor crank arm with a new one.
- [2016382](/recalls/tc/2016382.md), 2016-07-29: Airbag. On certain vehicles operated in areas of heavy road salt usage, a mixture of snow, water and road\-salt solution may infiltrate between the front impact sensor and the bracket that attaches it to the vehicle. Over time, repeated freezing/thawing cycles could cause a crack to develop in the sensor case allowing water intrusion and short circuit of the sensor. In the event of a crash, this could result in delayed deployment of the driver and passenger front airbags which would increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the front impact sensor and replace it if it is found to be cracked. An updated designed bracket and cover will also be installed.
- [2015386](/recalls/tc/2015386.md), 2015-08-28: Brakes. On certain vehicles, the right parking brake cable may have been incorrectly installed resulting in insufficient clearance with the fuel tank, causing abrasive contact between the two components. This contact could result in the coating on the fuel tank deteriorating and allowing rust to form, which could result in fuel leakage. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the right parking brake cable and inspect the fuel tank. If the fuel tank’s exterior coating is damaged from contact with the parking brake cable, the fuel tank will also be replaced.
- [2014192](/recalls/tc/2014192.md), 2014-05-28: Steering. Certain vehicles may have been manufactured with insufficient clearance between the power steering pressure tube and the cross\-member brace, possibly causing the power steering pressure tube to rust from abrasive contact. This could cause a power steering fluid leak, resulting in increased steering effort and potential for a fire in the presence of an ignition source. This could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect line routing and replace the pressure line as required.
