MITSUBISHI FUSO \(MFTA\) IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2008 THROUGH 2010 FE83D, FE84D, AND FG84D TRUCKS MANUFACTURED FROM APRIL 13, 2007 THROUGH DECEMBER 24, 2009.  THE GROUND WIRE ON AFFECTED VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AN ANTI\-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM IS POSITIONED IN SUCH A MANNER THAT WATER COULD ENTER THE WIRE CASING AND TRAVEL TO THE ABS HYDRAULIC UNIT CONNECTOR. Built 2007\-08\-31 to 2009\-12\-08.

THE WEATHER RESISTANCE PROPERTIES OF THE AIR INTAKE DUCT RUBBER CUSHIONS IS INSUFFICIENT.  DURING NORMAL VEHICLE OPERATION, THE RUBBER CUSHIONS DETERIORATE AND CRACK, CAUSING ABNORMAL NOISE. Built 2009\-10\-12 to 2009\-12\-08.

THE WEATHER RESISTANCE PROPERTIES OF THE AIR INTAKE DUCT RUBBER CUSHIONS IS INSUFFICIENT.  DURING NORMAL VEHICLE OPERATION, THE RUBBER CUSHIONS DETERIORATE AND CRACK, CAUSING ABNORMAL NOISE. Built 2004\-08\-04 to 2009\-09\-30.

- [2010176](/recalls/tc/2010176.md), 2010-06-01: Brakes. On certain trucks equipped with an Anti\-lock Brake System \(ABS\), water could enter the ground wire casing and travel to the ABS hydraulic unit connector.  If water invasion occurs, the connector terminals could become corroded, which could affect the hydraulic motor circuit in a manner that the motor would operate continuously.  This could cause the hydraulic motor to overheat and catch on fire, which could result in property damage, personal injury or death.  Correction: Dealers will replace the ground wiring sub harness and inspect the ABS hydraulic unit for corrosion.  If corrosion exists, the unit will be replaced.
- [2009325](/recalls/tc/2009325.md), 2009-11-16: Other. On certain trucks, the rubber cushions \- which fasten the air intake duct to the rear of the cab \- may fail.  This could allow the air intake duct to detach during vehicle operation.  An errant intake duct could strike a vehicle, property, or a bystander, which could result in property damage, personal injury or death.  Correction: Dealers will replace the air intake duct rubber cushions.
