- [2025213](/recalls/tc/2025213.md), 2025-04-17: Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Mercedes\-Benz dealer during recall 8297011 \(Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-105\) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required.  On certain vehicles, the 80 A fuse may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the fuse could overheat and fail. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels. This could also cause the instrument cluster not to work.  Safety Risk: A fuse and wiring that overheats can create the risk of a fire. A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Warnings, tell\-tales and gauges that don't display could also increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the main fuse box.

This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall 2023\-353.  Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel delivery module.

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem for the electronic stability control system \(ESP\) could cause the antilock brake system \(ABS\), acceleration slip regulation \(ASR\) and electronic brake force distribution \(EBD\) to malfunction. Also, the speedometer could display 0 km/h while the vehicle is moving. Note: This problem would cause various warnings to display on the instrument cluster.  Safety Risk: An electronic stability control system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, driving a vehicle without a speedometer could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
