- [2022741](/recalls/tc/2022741.md), 2022-12-22: Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the rear of the vehicle and build up in the spare tire wheel well. If this happens, the fuel pump control unit could short circuit and cause the engine to stall. Note: This problem could cause a check engine light to turn on, a damp carpet in the cargo area and/or the sound of water moving in the spare wheel well while driving. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect for water leaks and install a drain plug in the spare wheel well. The fuel pump control unit will be replaced, if necessary. To reduce the safety risk, you should regularly check for moisture in the cargo area and spare wheel well.
- [2022263](/recalls/tc/2022263.md), 2022-05-20: Other. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with the emergency calling \(eCall\) system, the SIM card for the communications module could disable itself. If this happens, the eCall system would not work properly when there is a crash or when the SOS button is pressed. Safety Risk: If the eCall system does not work in an emergency situation, there could be a delay in response from emergency services. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer.
- [2022177](/recalls/tc/2022177.md), 2022-04-12: Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the central display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera software.
- [2021755](/recalls/tc/2021755.md), 2021-12-13: Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, small particles could damage the seals between the fuel rail and fuel injectors. If this happens, there could be a fuel leak in the engine compartment. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel rail and fuel injectors.
- [2021415](/recalls/tc/2021415.md), 2021-07-05: Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, a label on the headlamp assembly may contain incorrect information for a service technician. As a result, the headlamps may not get adjusted correctly after a repair. This could cause glare and/or confusion for oncoming drivers. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with LED headlamps. Safety Risk: Headlamps that cause glare or confusion for oncoming drivers could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Mercedez\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the headlamps.
- [2021291](/recalls/tc/2021291.md), 2021-05-14: Visual System. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer.
- [2021064](/recalls/tc/2021064.md), 2021-02-12: Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with the emergency calling \(eCall\) system, the communications module may temporarily lose power during a crash. If this happens, the wrong vehicle location may be transmitted through the eCall system. This could cause emergency responders to be sent to the wrong location. Safety Risk: If the eCall system sends out the wrong location after a crash, there could be a delay in response from emergency services. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer.
- [2021041](/recalls/tc/2021041.md), 2021-02-01: Accessories. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the head unit software.
- [2020507](/recalls/tc/2020507.md), 2020-10-23: Lights And Instruments. Issue: Certain vehicles may not display the correct warning indicator when there is a problem with the brake system. As a result, the brake system malfunction indicator lamp \("BRAKE"\) might be displayed instead of the required indicator lamp \("\(\!\)"\). Canadian regulations require the use of a symbol, instead of text. Safety Risk: This small error does not affect the function of the brake system or the accuracy of the information displayed. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Mercedes Benz has made changes to ensure that all new vehicles display the correct brake system malfunction indicator symbol.
- [2019357](/recalls/tc/2019357.md), 2019-07-23: Brakes. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with the Driver Assistance Package, a software problem may cause the Active Brake Assist feature not to work properly. This could affect the feature’s ability to help reduce or avoid a crash. While the system will still provide audible and visual warnings, the autonomous braking might not occur. Safety Risk: If the brake assist system does not function properly, there could be an increased risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to update the radar sensor control unit software.
