| 2020534 | 2020-11-10. Seats And Restraints. Issue: Certain E 53 and E 63 S models may have been built without a limiter for the adjustment of the front passenger seat. As a result, the seat could be positioned too far forward. Safety Risk: A seat that is positioned too far forward could create an increased risk of injury to the front passenger in a crash where the airbag deploys. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the adjustment range of the front passenger seat. The dealer will install an adjustment range limiter if it is missing. |

| 2019554 | 2019-11-06. Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the front seat belt buckles. This could cause the seat belt warnings to turn on, even if the front seat belts are buckled. If the driver ignores these warnings, the PRE-SAFE and airbag systems may not function properly. Safety Risk: A seat belt pretensioner or airbag system that does not work properly in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to check the front seat belt buckles and replace them if necessary. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
