# Recalls that may apply to the 2011 Mazda Tribute

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [16V788000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V788000.md), 2016-10-28: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP. Mazda North American Operations \(Mazda\) is recalling certain model year 2010\-2011 Tribute vehicles manufactured March 3, 2009, to May 26, 2011. On vehicles with a 3.0L engine, the Fuel Delivery Module \(FDM\) may crack, causing a fuel leak. Built 2009\-03\-03 to 2011\-05\-26.
- [14V282000](/recalls/nhtsa/14V282000.md), 2014-05-29: STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM. Mazda North American Operations \(Mazda\) is recalling certain model year 2008\-2011 Tribute vehicles manufactured October 5, 2006, through September 11, 2010. The affected vehicles have a steering torque sensor that may not be able to properly detect driver steering input. As a result, the system could remove the Electric Power Steering \(EPS\) assist. Built 2006\-10\-05 to 2010\-09\-11.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2017079](/recalls/tc/2017079.md), 2017-02-14: Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the thickness of the port wall of the Fuel Delivery Module \(FDM\) may be below specification and could result in the supply port cracking. If a crack were to develop in the vertical portion of the FDM fuel supply port, a fuel leak could occur. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the FDM flange with a flange that has a redesigned fuel supply port.
- [2014197](/recalls/tc/2014197.md), 2014-05-29: Steering. On certain vehicles, a fault in the Electric Power Steering \(EPS\) system could result in an immediate loss of power steering assist without warning to the driver. This would unexpectedly increase the steering effort force necessary to steer the vehicle at lower vehicle speeds, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs as necessary and will reprogram the EPS controller with updated software. In the event that an EPS fault occurs, this updated software would allow for continued EPS function while displaying visual and audible warnings to the driver until the end of the drive cycle.
