- [21V101000](/recalls/nhtsa/21V101000.md), 2021-02-22: TIRES:VALVE. Mazda North American Operations \(Mazda\) is recalling certain 2021 Mazda3 and CX\-30 vehicles.  Air may suddenly leak from the tire air valve.
- [21V086000](/recalls/nhtsa/21V086000.md), 2021-02-18: STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE. Mazda North American Operations \(Mazda\) is recalling certain 2020\-2021 CX\-30 vehicles.  When fully opened, the power liftgate may partially lower unexpectedly when the vehicle is parked facing uphill on a slope.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2021091](/recalls/tc/2021091.md), 2021-02-22: Wheels. Issue: On certain vehicles, the valve stem for the tires may have been damaged during assembly. As a result, the tires could slowly or suddenly lose air pressure while driving.  Safety Risk: A loss of tire pressure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace all four tire valves with new parts.
- [2021075](/recalls/tc/2021075.md), 2021-02-19: Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, the power liftgate may partially lower from the fully open position when the vehicle is parked facing uphill on a slope. The liftgate will not lower all the way to the closed position.  Safety risk: A liftgate that partially lowers suddenly could create a risk of injury.  Corrective action: Mazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the power liftgate software. The dealer will also inspect the liftgate drive units and replace them, if necessary.
