## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2019299](/recalls/tc/2019299.md), 2019-06-17: Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, the airbag electronic control unit \(ECU\) could be damaged by an electrical fault. This could cause the airbag system not to work properly in a crash. It could also result in a deployment of the airbags and/or seat belt pretensioners without a crash. Safety Risk: Airbags that do not work properly in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Airbags or seat belt pretensioners that deploy without a crash could create a risk of injury and also increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the airbag ECU.
