| 1984053 | 1984-04-05. THE SPRING SEAT, WHICH IS LOCATED BETWEEN THE AXLE HOUSING AND THE REAR SUSPENSION SPRING PACK CAN DEFORM, RESULTING IN REDUCED CLAMPING FORCE IN THE SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY. THIS COULD CAUSE AXLE MISALIGNMENT, SPRING "U" BOLT LOOSENESS AND HOUSING FAILURE. AXLE DISLOCATION, WHICH COULD RESULT IN TIRE TO SPRING INTERFERENCE AND POSSIBLE IMPAIRMENT OF VEHICLE CONTROL, COULD OCCUR WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. |
