- [26V139000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V139000.md), 2026-03-11: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\):SOFTWARE. Mack Trucks, Inc. \(Mack\) is recalling certain 2022\-2027 TerraPro trucks. The engine control unit \(ECU\) software may allow the engine to start when the transmission is not in Neutral. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect." Built 2021\-01\-11 to 2026\-02\-24.
- [25V030000](/recalls/nhtsa/25V030000.md), 2025-01-23: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK. Mack Trucks, Inc. \(Mack\) is recalling certain 2010\-2018 MRU and 2019\-2025 Terrapro towing vehicles. The vehicles are missing the anti\-lock brake \(ABS\) warning light and circuitry that controls the anti\-lock brake function for an attached trailer. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(FMVSS\) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
- [24V792000](/recalls/nhtsa/24V792000.md), 2024-10-23: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE. Mack Trucks, Inc. \(Mack\) is recalling certain 2020\-2025 Anthem, Granite, TerraPro and Pinnacle vehicles, equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units \(ECU\). Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.
- [22V401000](/recalls/nhtsa/22V401000.md), 2022-06-07: STEERING. Mack Trucks, Inc. \(Mack\) is recalling certain 2021\-22 Granite, Anthem, LR, Pinnacle, and Terrapro tractor trailers. The steering gears may have been assembled incorrectly, which can cause the gear to fracture.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2026108](/recalls/tc/2026108.md), 2026-03-11: Powertrain. Issue: On certain trucks, a software problem could allow the engine to be started with the transmission in the drive or reverse gear. If this happens, the truck could move suddenly when it is started. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the truck could increase the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mack recommends you ensure the transmission is in the neutral gear before starting the engine until the recall repairs have been completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the ECU software.
- [2025031](/recalls/tc/2025031.md), 2025-01-24: Brakes. Issue: A small number of trucks may have been manufactured without the wiring for the antilock braking system \(ABS\) for a towed trailer. Additionally, there is no warning light to advise the driver if the ABS for the trailer isn't working. Safety Risk: An antilock braking system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to install the ABS wiring and warning light.
- [2024632](/recalls/tc/2024632.md), 2024-10-24: Brakes. Issue: On certain trucks, poor signal strength could cause the electronic control unit \(ECU\) to stop working or not to work properly. As a result, some safety systems may not work, including the antilock braking system, automatic traction control, electronic stability control, active cruise control and the collision mitigation system. Safety Risks: Vehicle safety systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to reprogram the ECU software.
- [2022295](/recalls/tc/2022295.md), 2022-06-07: Steering. Issue: On certain trucks, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect the serial number on the steering gear, and replace it, if necessary.
- [2021744](/recalls/tc/2021744.md), 2021-12-09: Brakes. Issue: On certain trucks, the parking brake control valve may wear and leak. In certain situations, this could cause the parking brake to release suddenly and the truck could roll away. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could increase the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to remove the exhaust tube and fitting from the parking brake control valve.
