## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [23V792000](/recalls/nhtsa/23V792000.md), 2023-11-22: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL. Mack Trucks, Inc. \(Mack\) is recalling certain 2023\-2024 GR, AN, LR, and Terrapro vehicles.  The engine may not return to idle within 2 seconds if the accelerator pedal position sensor becomes disconnected.  As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 124, "Accelerator Control Systems."
- [23V465000](/recalls/nhtsa/23V465000.md), 2023-07-03: VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:LINKAGES. Mack Trucks, Inc. \(Mack\) is recalling certain 2023\-2024 LR garbage trucks.  The wiper arm retention nuts may be loose, stripping, and causing the windshield wipers to fail.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2023630](/recalls/tc/2023630.md), 2023-11-22: Electrical. Issue: On certain trucks, the engine may not return to idle if the accelerator pedal position sensor becomes disconnected. As a result, the trucks don't meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.  Safety Risk: An engine that doesn't return to idle could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
- [2022295](/recalls/tc/2022295.md), 2022-06-07: Steering. Issue: On certain trucks, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering.  Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect the serial number on the steering gear, and replace it, if necessary.
