- [2002189](/recalls/tc/2002189.md), 2002-10-15: Brakes. On certain vehicles, additional axles were installed to increase the gross vehicle weight capacity but the parking brake capacity was not increased accordingly therefore not complying with CMVSS 121 regulations.  Correction:  The dealer will perform repairs as necessary.
- [2000248](/recalls/tc/2000248.md), 2000-10-26: Engine. On certain vehicles, the return springs on the accelerator pedals are made of stainless steel or electroplated music wire. The design fatigue stress of the stainless steel springs is in a range that would predict that some failures would occur.  The music wire springs can fail due to stress risers created by electrical arcing during electroplating.  Correction:  Accelerator pedals will be replaced with ones equipped with return springs manufactured of music wire with one additional coil on each spring and with an organic coating, eliminating electroplating.
