A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [07V401000](/recalls/nhtsa/07V401000.md), 2007-09-05: FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH ASET AC MODEL ENGINES, THE ENGINE AS CONFIGURED WITH AN EXTERNAL EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION SYSTEM MAKES SERVICING THE FUEL INJECTION LINES DIFFICULT WHEN USING TRADITIONAL TOOLS. THEREFORE, IT IS POSSIBLE FOR FUEL LEAKS TO DEVELOP WHEN REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE FUEL INJECTION LINES. Built 2002\-01\-01 to 2007\-01\-31.
- [06V392000](/recalls/nhtsa/06V392000.md), 2006-10-13: FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, A LEAK IN THE ASET AC FUEL INJECTION LINE MAY SPRAY FUEL ON THE EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION PIPES THAT CARRY HOT EXHAUST GASES . Built 2002\-01\-01 to 2006\-10\-31.
- [06V290000](/recalls/nhtsa/06V290000.md), 2006-08-03: FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, THE FUEL LINE CROSSOVER BRACKET MAY PREMATURELY FAIL AND UNEXPECTEDLY FALL TO THE ROAD. THE LOCATION AND SIZE OF THE BRACKET DRAWS A CONCERN TO THE BRACKET BEING PICKED UP AND THROWN BY THE DRIVE AXLE WHEELS. Built 2004\-02\-04 to 2006\-04\-03.
- [05V439000](/recalls/nhtsa/05V439000.md), 2005-09-26: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR. ON CERTAIN VEHICLES. THE BRAKE CAM TUBES ON THE DRIVE AXLE MAY NOT HAVE BEEN GREASED. Built 2004\-02\-01 to 2005\-06\-30.
- [05V112000](/recalls/nhtsa/05V112000.md), 2005-03-24: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DISC:CHAMBER. ON CERTAIN HEAVY DUTY CLASS 8 TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH AIR SUSPENSION PROPRIETARY AXLES AND ADJUSTABLE LENGH TORQUE RODS, AN INTERFERENCE BETWEEN THE ADJUSTABLE TORQUE ROD AND THE BRAKE CHAMBER ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CHASSIS MAY EXIST. THE SPRING BRAKE CHAMBER CLAMP RING COULD POSSIBLY BE DISTORTED OVER TIME RESULTING IN LOSS OF AIR, WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE SPRING BRAKE AT THE CHAMBER BEING INADVERTENTLY APPLIED. Built 2004\-02\-24 to 2004\-09\-19.
- [05V111000](/recalls/nhtsa/05V111000.md), 2005-03-24: POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH THE FXL AXLE AND MERITOR 16.5 X 5 BRAKES WITH DUST SHIELDS, THERE MAY BE INTERFERENCE BETWEEN THE DUST SHIELD MOUNTING BOLT AND THE KNUCKLE ON THE FRONT AXLE. AS A RESULT OF THE INTERFERENCE, THE BOLT JOINT BETWEEN THE WHEEL END AND THE KNUCKLE MAY NOT MEET THE TORQUE REQUIREMENTS. Built 2004\-07\-01 to 2005\-01\-31.
- [05V015000](/recalls/nhtsa/05V015000.md), 2005-01-14: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS. ON CERTAIN HEAVY DUTY CLASS 8 DIESEL TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH ASET AC ENGINES, THE LOCATION OF THE FUEL INLET HOSE MAY RESULT IN OVERHEATING OR ABRASION OF THE HOSE, WHICH MAY LEAD TO A PREMATURE FAILURE. Built 2002\-08\-01 to 2004\-12\-31.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2007278](/recalls/tc/2007278.md), 2007-08-28: Brakes. On certain trucks, the engine configuration makes servicing fuel injection lines difficult when using traditional tools. It is possible for fuel leaks to develop following recall campaign 2006258 \(Mack SC0317\) or when line removal is required to gain access to other engine components. Underhood fuel leakage could result in a vehicle fire. Correction: Dealers will install an updated fuel injection line that offers better clamping surface when torqued. This will be done using specially designed tools to ensure correct torque is applied.
- [2006258](/recalls/tc/2006258.md), 2006-10-10: Fuel System. On certain trucks, a leak in the fuel injection line may spray fuel on the Exhaust Gas Recirculation \(EGR\) pipes. The hot EGR pipes could ignite the fuel, causing an underhood fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the fuel injection lines. A protective sleeve will be installed over the lines. Note: Recall cancelled, see TC 2007102
- [2006187](/recalls/tc/2006187.md), 2006-07-28: Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the fuel line crossover bracket may fail. Such a failure could allow the bracket to fall from the vehicle and damage a drive axle tire. Correction: Dealers will replace the bracket.
- [2005097](/recalls/tc/2005097.md), 2005-04-06: Brakes. On certain trucks, there may be interference between the dust shield mounting bolt and the knuckle on the front axle. As a result of the interference, the bolt joint between the wheel end and the knuckle may not meet the torque requirements. This could result in vibration or brake performance issues. Braking capability would not be possible, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will remove the hub and brake assembly to install a new dust shield.
- [2005009](/recalls/tc/2005009.md), 2005-01-13: Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the location of the fuel hose used on the ASET AC engine may result in overheating and/or abrasion of the hose, which may lead to a premature failure. If the hose fails, fuel can be sprayed on the exhaust manifold, which could potentially lead to an engine compartment fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel inlet hose.
