# U211B on the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus

The bulletins listed name this code in NHTSA's summary, or are about the same components. A bulletin or a recall listed here may apply to the model year. None of it is a diagnosis.

This code is specific to a manufacturer and is not described here.

## Bulletins for this model year that name U211B

- [11033849](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11033849), 2026-06-16: Some 20242026 Nautilus vehicles may have previously exhibited unsuccessful programmable module installation \(PMI\) starting with a CallGetRestore Invalid hardware error message, when using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\) to program a new door latch control module E \(DCME\), door latch control module F \(DCMF\), door latch control module G \(DCMG\), and/or door latch control module H \(DCMH\). Diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) U211B may also be stored in the door latch control module. The programming concern has been corrected. Download and run the applicable PMI application again using the latest software version of the FDRS scan tool. Make sure to follow any remaining steps to complete the door latch installation and programming. Refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 501\-14 \> Removal and Installation \> Front Door Latch/Rear Door Latch.
- [11018238](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11018238), 2025-05-13: After replacement of any TRON module, the gateway module \(GWM\) and the TRON capable modules can set diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) U211A, U211B, U211C, U3034, U3035, U3036, U35D9, U35DA and/or U35DB if the secret authentication security keys are not aligned between the modules, a loss of communication is occurring between modules and/or a module is not responding. This may be a result of missing the new module secret authentication security key obtained when running the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\) "Trusted Real\-Time Operation Network \(TRON\) Module Authentication" procedure after replacement. When replacing a TRON capable module, run the FDRS "Trusted Real\-Time Operation Network \(TRON\) Module Authentication" procedure in the GWM tool box, not in the toolbox of the module with the DTC's, to distribute a new set of secret authentication security keys to all TRON\-capable modules. Using the specific vehicle identification number \(VIN\), refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 418\-00 and 418\-01 for updated DTCs, applicable TRON module listings and pinpoint tests.
- [11017064](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11017064), 2025-04-16: After replacement of any TRON module, the gateway module \(GWM\) and the TRON capable modules can set diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) U211A, U211B, U211C, U3034, U3035, U3036, U35D9, U35DA and/or U35DB if the secret authentication security keys are not aligned between the modules, a loss of communication is occuring between modules and/or a module is not responding. This may be a result of missing the new module secret authentication security key obtained when running the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\) "Trusted Real\-Time Operation Network \(TRON\) Module Authentication" procedure after replacement. When replacing a TRON capable module, run the FDRS "Trusted Real\-Time Operation Network \(TRON\) Module Authentication" procedure to distribute a new set of secret authentication security keys to all TRON\-capable modules. Using the specific VIN, refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 418\-00 and 418\-01 for updated DTCs, applicable TRON module listings and pinpoint tests.
- [11005752](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11005752), 2024-08-06: Some 2023\-2024 F\-Super Duty and 2024 F\-150/Nautilus vehicles may set DTC U211B:51 in the telematics control unit \(TCU\) module after a software update on the TCU is performed at dealer or via over the air \(OTA\) Update. The DTC U211B:51 in the TCU has no effect on vehicle functionality or connectivity. Replacement or reprogramming of the TCU will not resolve this condition. DTC U211B:51 should be ignored if no other DTCs are present in the TCU and no symptoms present. No further service action is required.
- [10247163](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10247163), 2023-12-11: Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) U211B:87 in the remote function actuator \(RFA\) module when a diagnostic self\-test is performed. This may be due to an internal counter reaching a specified limit. U211B:87 has no effect on functionality and will automatically become a historical DTC which can be cleared. Replacement or reprogramming of the RFA module will not resolve this condition. U211B:87 should be ignored and no further service action is required if no other DTCs are present in the RFA, no warning indicators are illuminated while the engine is running, and no symptoms present.
- [10247162](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10247162), 2023-12-11: Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) U211B:87 in the anti\-lock brake system \(ABS\) module when a diagnostic self\-test is performed. This may be due to a module communication error within a specified timeframe. U211B:87 has no effect on functionality and will automatically become a historical DTC which can be cleared. Replacement or reprogramming of the ABS module will not resolve this condition. Engineering is currently working on a software update which is expected in Q1 2024. Continue to monitor OASIS for additional information.
