- [25V744000](/recalls/nhtsa/25V744000.md), 2025-10-30: BACK OVER PREVENTION:DISPLAY FUNCTION. Toyota Motor Engineering \& Manufacturing \(Toyota\) is recalling certain 2022\-2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor \(PVM\) system. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. A software error may cause the rearview camera to freeze or display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(FMVSS\) number 111, "Rear Visibility." Built 2022\-10\-18 to 2025\-04\-07.
- [25V577000](/recalls/nhtsa/25V577000.md), 2025-09-04: VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM. Toyota Motor Engineering \& Manufacturing \(Toyota\) is recalling certain 2023\-2025 bZ4X, Lexus RZ, and Subaru Solterra vehicles. During certain HVAC system faults, such as electrical compressor failure, the defroster and defogger system may become inoperative. Built 2023\-01\-23 to 2025\-06\-12.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2025451](/recalls/tc/2025451.md), 2025-09-04: Heater And Defroster. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the heating, ventilation and air conditioning \(HVAC\) system to enter a failsafe mode. As a result, the heater could stop working. If this happens, the windshield defroster may not work properly. Note: This problem could cause an "EV System Malfunction" or "Drive Start Control Malfunction" message to display.  Safety Risk: A windshield defroster that doesn't work properly could cause reduced visibility and increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the HVAC system electronic control unit software. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the electrical compressor.
