| 2022167 | 2022-04-05. Seats And Restraints. Issue: A problem with the driver's seat belt could cause it not to lock-up as designed during braking or in a crash. Note: This recall replaces N333 (Transport Canada recall 2019-218). Vehicles that were inspected but that didn't have the driver's seat belt assembly replaced require a second inspection. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't lock properly in a crash could cause an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Jaguar Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the driver's seat belt assembly and replace it, as necessary. |

This could cause the pretensioners to fail to deploy in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the front seat occupants. Correction: Dealers will check the production date of the front seat belt assemblies (which incorporate the pretensioners) and replace as necessary. |
