SSM727382018-07-16. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. Issue: The bonnet open warning light is on but the bonnet appears closed. This can cause the alarm to trigger or the vehicle to not lock.

Issue: When in a radio function such as FM, AM, DAB/HD the following behaviour is seen: When making a selection using left or right tune soft key buttons or when selecting an alternative radio band (ie trying to change from FM to DAB) there is no response from touch screen and audio output remains distorted. The DTC B14D3-96 may also be stored in the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) suggesting a radio tuner component internal failure.

In addition a clicking noise may be heard from the Rear Junction Box when the ignition is switched on.

Issue: Oil leaking between the automatic transmission and transfer case which is currently being misdiagnosed leading to repeat repairs, i.e. leaks incorrectly being identified as coming from the rear transmission oil seal or sump. Oil weeps through the aluminium of the casing in the base of the pocket around where the steel D clutch tube is embedded, refer to attached file.
