## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2025462](/recalls/tc/2025462.md), 2025-09-08: Structure. Issue: On certain fire trucks, a problem inside the door latch assemblies could cause the doors to become stuck. If this happens, the doors may not be able to be opened. Safety Risk: Doors that can't be opened could slow your exit from the vehicle and/or delay emergency responders from entering the vehicle. This could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Spartan Fire will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to an authorized service facility to inspect and, if necessary, replace the door latch assemblies.
- [2023512](/recalls/tc/2023512.md), 2023-09-15: Brakes. Issue: On certain emergency vehicles, the inversion valve in the air brake system may not work properly. As a result, there could be a delay before the parking brake applies. If this happens, the vehicle could move unexpectedly. This issue also causes the vehicle not to meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A delay before the parking brake applies could result in unintended vehicle movement, and create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Spartan Fire will notify the owners by mail and arrange for an inspection of the inversion valve. If the valve is not certified, it will be replaced.
