This condition can potentially cause the MIL to come ON with DTC\(s\) P07XX and/or P0880 and may cause the vehicle to default into 5th gear. The vehicle can continue to be operated in default mode \(5th gear\), but it will accelerate slowly. Follow the procedure outlined in this publication to upgrade the transmission harness.
