A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [13V328000](/recalls/nhtsa/13V328000.md), 2013-07-29: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Kawasaki Motors Corp. is recalling certain model year 2013 Ninja 300 and 300 ABS motorcycles manufactured July 16, 2012, through April 27, 2013. Due to an improper setting in the Electronic Control Unit \(ECU\), the motorcycle may stall under deceleration. Built 2012\-07\-16 to 2013\-04\-27.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2013264](/recalls/tc/2013264.md), 2013-08-02: Engine. On certain motorcycles, the engine may stall while decelerating. Engine stalling would result in a loss of motive power, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the engine control unit \(ECU\).
- [2013263](/recalls/tc/2013263.md), 2013-08-02: Brakes. On certain motorcycles, the ABS hydraulic unit may have been contaminated with debris during manufacturing. This could cause the ABS system to function improperly and in an unexpected manner, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: dealers will inspect the ABS unit and replace if necessary.
