## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [26V648000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V648000.md), 2026-10-05: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Kalmar Solutions, LLC \(Kalmar\) is recalling certain 2014\-2026 Ottawa T2 4X2 and 2016\-2026 T2 6X4 DOT/EPA terminal tractors. The printed circuit board \(PCB\) insulation may become damaged, resulting in a short circuit. **NHTSA advises: park outside, away from buildings, until the repair is done.**
- [24V620000](/recalls/nhtsa/24V620000.md), 2024-08-19: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:RESERVOIR/TANK. Kalmar Solutions, LLC \(Kalmar\) is recalling certain 2016\-2017 Ottawa T2 6X4 vehicles. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
- [22V298000](/recalls/nhtsa/22V298000.md), 2022-05-04: PARKING BRAKE:CONVENTIONAL:AIR. Kalmar Solutions, LLC \(Kalmar\) is recalling certain 2015\-2022 Ottawa T2 terminal tractors. The trailer handbrake valve and the trailer parking brake valve vent lines are plumbed together. This can cause the trailer parking brake to set unexpectedly when the trailer handbrake is released. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
- [16V951000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V951000.md), 2016-12-27: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Kalmar Solutions, LLC \(Kalmar\) is recalling certain model year 2014\-2016 Ottawa T2 vehicles manufactured August 16, 2014, to November 17, 2016. - [16V850000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V850000.md), 2016-11-23: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Kalmar Solutions, LLC \(Kalmar\) is recalling certain model year 2014\-2016 Ottawa T2 vehicles manufactured July 15, 2014, to November 3, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the ground circuit of the cab power distribution circuit board can be overloaded. Built 2014\-07\-15 to 2016\-11\-03.
- [16V189000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V189000.md), 2016-04-04: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR. Kalmar Solutions, LLC \(Kalmar\) is recalling certain model year 2014\-2016 Ottawa T2 vehicles manufactured July 14, 2014, to March 25, 2016. The brake system air pressure gauge, may not display the accurate air pressure level. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(FMVSS\) number 121, "Air Brake Systems." Built 2014\-07\-14 to 2016\-03\-25.
- [16V073000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V073000.md), 2016-02-09: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Kalmar Solutions, LLC \(Kalmar\) is recalling certain model year 2014\-2016 Ottawa T2 trucks manufactured July 14, 2014, to November 2, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a chassis power board that is not protected from moisture. ## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2017170](/recalls/tc/2017170.md), 2017-03-24: Electrical. On certain vehicles, the chassis power distribution center may not have been sealed properly. This could result in moisture ingress, which could lead to an electrical short and fire, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the chassis power distribution center with a design using sealed modules to eliminate exposure to moisture and improved abrasion resistance. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2016\-345. Vehicles repaired under the previous recall will require re\-inspection and repair.
- [2017169](/recalls/tc/2017169.md), 2017-03-24: Electrical. On certain vehicles, the ground trace in the cab power distribution center circuit board may not adequately carry the required maximum electrical load demands of the circuit. Failure of the ground trace could result a possible fire, which would increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will relocate the ground path from the circuit board directly to the cab ground stud.
- [2016345](/recalls/tc/2016345.md), 2016-07-04: Electrical. On certain vehicles, the fasteners that are used to attach the circuit board to the vehicle within the chassis power distribution center may not be protected from chaffing or abrasions as they are not insulated from the board. As a result, the distribution center circuit board can experience abrasion resulting in unintended grounding of the circuit board. This can result in an electrical short and fire, which would increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install nylon washers at the mounting points of the chassis electrical distribution center. Note: This recall is superseded by recall 2017\-170.
- [2016344](/recalls/tc/2016344.md), 2016-07-04: Brakes. On certain vehicles, the air tank mounted pressure sensors may not be consistently accurate. This could cause inaccurate brake system air pressure values to be displayed by the dash gauge. If this occurs, the operator would not have correct information regarding the brake system air pressure, increasing risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. This could also result in activation of the low air warning and the setting of the spring brakes at a dash gauge reading higher than expected. Correction: Dealers will replace the air pressure sensors with accurate sensors.
