UAS, UAQ, UCS, UAV, UCV and UCQ Radio Over The Air Software Version Updates This bulletin provides information regarding the latest Flash Over The Air (FOTA) update and provides the service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete the update. This is part of a two step FOTA update, first update brings software level to 22.61 and this second FOTA update will take the software to 22.64. National launch for this second step is May 24, 2021. Customers may experience one or more of the following:Navigation is incorrect or can not calculate route. GPS locations is inaccurate. Uconnect radio apps are all inoperable. Backup camera screen is blue (DT and KL). Green horizontal lines appear across screen (DT and KL). Anti-theft code request message. Backup camera screen is blank. Lines appear across screen. Radio control screen is blank or locked. Radio reset intermittently. Unable to adjust audio volume. Unable to switch modes between AM, FM, SAT or Media. In addition the following enhancements are included in this update:Carplay® connectivity improvement. Improvement to Bluetooth® phone pairing. Bluetooth devices unresponsive. Improved sound quality when using a Bluetooth phone.

Customers may experience one or more of the following: Voice recognition (VR) fails while road names are written in Catalan. After the update to software level MR-28.31, the Amperometer inside Jeepskills shows values too high. The radio may lose some or all programmed presets. Volume blocked/uncontrollable. Heating Steering wheel and seat SK greyed out. Eco Drive trips saved issue. Radio may reset, turn itself off and then back on again. Radio display screen lock up. PIN clear and volume locked while KeySense is used. Audio static while in SXM/SAT modes. Echo heard during Bluetooth phone calls. The radio is locked up. The radio remains on after ignition has been turned off. The radio resets. The radio screen turns black. The radio screen shows messages ?Software Update? or ?Reinsert USB Device? and displays that screen in a continuous loop.
