- [19V039000](/recalls/nhtsa/19V039000.md), 2019-01-17: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:BELTS AND ASSOCIATED PULLEYS. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC \(Jaguar\) is recalling certain 2019 Jaguar F\-Pace, F\-Type, and XJ vehicles equipped with V6 or V8 gasoline engines.  The crankshaft pulley retaining bolt may have been improperly manufactured, possibly causing the crankshaft pulley bolt to fracture, potentially resulting in engine failure. Built 2018\-11\-19 to 2018\-12\-12.

- [2019028](/recalls/tc/2019028.md), 2019-01-17: Engine. Issue: On certain vehicles, the engine crankshaft pulley bolt may have been manufactured improperly. This could cause it to crack and fail. If this happens, the crankshaft could break and cause a sudden engine failure. A driver may hear loud noises and see warning lights on the dash immediately before the engine fails.  Safety Risk: An engine failure could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loose pulley could separate from the engine and cause damage. If it separates from the vehicle, it could become a hazard for bystanders or other drivers.  Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to an authorized repair facility to have the crankshaft pulley bolt replaced with a new one.
