Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC \(Jaguar\) is recalling certain 2010\-2011 and 2017 XJ vehicles.  The Restraint Control Module \(RCM\) software may cause the frontal air bags to deploy improperly in the event of a frontal impact crash.
- [17V678000](/recalls/nhtsa/17V678000.md), 2017-10-26: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC \(Jaguar\) is recalling certain 2017\-2018 Jaguar XF and F\-Pace, 2016\-2017 Jaguar XJ and 2018 Jaguar XE vehicles.  The instrument cluster \(IC\) may intermittently go blank. Built 2016\-09\-01 to 2017\-08\-18.
- [16V943000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V943000.md), 2016-12-29: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:PASSENGER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC \(Jaguar\) is recalling certain model year 2016\-2017 Jaguar XJ vehicles manufactured September 12, 2016, to October 26, 2016.  The affected vehicles have a front passenger air bag inflator initiator that may fail to ignite during a crash, preventing the air bag from deploying. Built 2016\-09\-12 to 2016\-10\-26.

- [2017524](/recalls/tc/2017524.md), 2017-10-26: Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, the instrument cluster could go blank intermittently and be unable to display important information. This could result in the driver not being aware of vehicle speed or any malfunction lights turning on, which could affect vehicle performance and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the vehicle software.
- [2017282](/recalls/tc/2017282.md), 2017-05-26: Label. Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The certification label may not contain the required National Safety Mark nor a statement of conformity, which is contrary to the requirements of the regulations. Correction: Dealers will replace the certification label with a corrected label.
