SSM735422018-01-29. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER. Issue: Rattle noise from turbo waste gate actuator which is more evident from engine cold start but also when engine is under slight load and on overrun.
JTB00556NAS12018-01-29. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:FAN. The electric cooling fans may continue to operate, causing a noise from the engine compartment. The engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may also be illuminated with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0116-24 stored.

Issue: In cold weather (below -15 degrees Celsius / 5 degrees Fahrenheit) Diesel engines can experience difficulties with starting or engine running. This can lead to Roadside Assistance being necessary.

Issue: Ingenium I4 2.0L Diesel vehicles which are logging P026A-77 - Charge Air Cooler Efficiency Below Threshold and P023B-11 - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Control Circuit Low - Circuit short to ground within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This diagnostic is directing retailers to replace the Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (T2H2556), however a number of these parts have been returned and no faults have been found.
