Upon further investigation, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P052A-00, P0011-71, and/or P000A-00 are found stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

Issue: Customer may report MIL (malfunction indicator light) and / or a restricted performance warning on their Instrument display. DTC's may be flagged P0404-77/84, P042E-72 or P042F-73 applicable to 16MY onwards for Ingenium 2.0D & 3.0 TDV6.
SSM737002018-01-22. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. ISSUE: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have received multiple reports of concerns experienced when updating vehicles equipped with InControl Touch Pro to latest software version NGI 17C on both Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) and PATHFINDER. Additional vehicle feedback data shows that the failure rate is increasing, despite the many improvements made in Pathfinder 123 and SDD 152.00. JLR recommend that no further vehicles are routinely updated to NGI 17C. (Note below reference urgent vehicles only.)

DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: In response to customer feedback on the performance of the InControl© Touch Pro? system, Jaguar Land Rover has developed a software update designed to enhance the robustness of the following features and functions on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range: - System unable to read Compact Discs (CD) and/or Digital Versatile Discs (DVD), with an error message may be displayed on the Touchscreen.- Touchscreen does not refresh.- Touchscreen fails to reboot after recently being turned OFF.- CD folder names are titled incorrectly as random numbers and the audio track identification numbers are displayed in the incorrect order. - Media Player - when ripping CDs to the Solid State Drive (SSD), the files are stored and playback is in the order that they are ripped in and not sequential by track ID. - No sound while operating the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) with the Touchscreen. - Voice - poor performance.- Internet - no response.This program does not apply to any vehicle already registered and in use, either with the retailer or customer. Any vehicle already in use may continue to be driven and any repair instructions deemed necessary will becommunicated through a separate Field Action or Technical Bulletin.

Issue: Ingenium I4 2.0L Diesel vehicles which are logging P026A-77 - Charge Air Cooler Efficiency Below Threshold and P023B-11 - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Control Circuit Low - Circuit short to ground within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This diagnostic is directing retailers to replace the Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (T2H2556), however a number of these parts have been returned and no faults have been found.
