- [17V324000](/recalls/nhtsa/17V324000.md), 2017-05-17: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL. Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. \(Isuzu\) is recalling certain model year 2008\-2009 and 2012\-2013 Isuzu NPR and NPR HD vehicles and 2008\-2009 GMC W3500 and GMC W4500 vehicles. The affected vehicles, equipped with a gasoline\-powered engine, have a throttle pedal that may get stuck under the steel stopper bolt, causing the pedal to remain in the full throttle position. Built 2007\-06\-05 to 2009\-04\-23.
- [09V042000](/recalls/nhtsa/09V042000.md), 2009-02-04: POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT. IZUSU IS RECALLING 2,836 MY 2008\-2009 NPR/NQR AND NRR, GMC W3500, 4500 AND 5500, CHEVROLET W3500, 4500 AND 5500 TRUCKS. THE PROPELLER SHAFT WAS MANUFACTURED WITH INSUFFICIENT HIGH FREQUENCY HEAT TREATMENT. AS A RESULT, THE AFFECTED PORTION OF THE PROPELLER SHAFT MAY NOT MAINTAIN ITS DURABILITY THROUGH THE EXPECTED VEHICLE USEFUL LIFE. Built 2008\-02\-01 to 2008\-03\-31.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2017265](/recalls/tc/2017265.md), 2017-05-17: Powertrain. On certain vehicles with gasoline powered engines, the accelerator pedal could move laterally, allowing the accelerator pedal bracket to be hung up on the stopper bolt on the floor panel bracket. This would cause the accelerator pedal to remain in the open position, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will remove and replace the stopper bolt with a flanged plate that will be bolted to the floor bracket to prevent lateral movement of the accelerator pedal. Note: This recall is an expansion of recall 2016\-545.
- [2013212](/recalls/tc/2013212.md), 2013-06-19: Electrical. On certain vehicles equipped with an oil pan heater, over time, dust, dirt and moisture may collect at the contact point between the oil pan heater cord and the extension cord. As a result, the extension cord could overheat, which may melt the oil pan heater plug and/or block heater plug \(if equipped\). This could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and clean the oil pan heater plug and the engine block heater plug \(if equipped\). Heat damaged plugs will be replaced. In addition, dealers will replace the extension cord and advise owners to store the cord indoors when not in use.
- [2009026](/recalls/tc/2009026.md), 2009-01-28: Other. On certain trucks, the propeller shaft may not have received adequate heat treatment during the manufacturing process. As a result, the shaft may break and fall off while the vehicle is being driven. Separation of the driveshaft would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. In addition, once separated from the vehicle the driveshaft could cause vehicle damage or damage to other vehicles and property, and could potentially result in personal injury or death to bystanders. Correction: Dealers will replace the propeller shaft.
