Recalls that may apply to the 1987 International 900

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
None found.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
19890581989-04-24. Engine. THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE DEFECTIVE THROTTLE RETURN SPRINGS. THE TOOL USED TO FORM THE ENDS ON THE SPRING MAY HAVE LEFT A MARK IN THE SPRING CREATING A STRESS CONDITION WHICH MAY CAUSE THE END OF THE SPRING TO FATIGUE RAPIDLY. SHOULD BOTH THROTTLE RETURN SPRINGS FAIL, IT COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND A CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: THROTTLE RETURN SPRINGS WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
