- [2004048](/recalls/tc/2004048.md), 2004-02-05: Brakes. On certain vehicles, the Bosch Zero Offset Pin Slide \(ZOPS\) hydraulic disc brakes may experience calipers sticking in the applied position, which can result in excessive or abnormal heat generation at one or more of the brakes. In bus applications, the combination of the following factors may collectively result in an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety: potential fire at a wheel end, high incident rates of stuck calipers, and evacuation and containment concerns relating to multiple passengers. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs. This is an expansion of Recall 2003053.
- [2002113](/recalls/tc/2002113.md), 2002-06-17: Brakes. On certain trucks the fitting that connects the double check valve to the rear axle air brake relay valve may break. If the fitting breaks the rear service brakes will cease to operate, resulting in an extended stopping distance, possibly resulting in a collision.
- [2000020](/recalls/tc/2000020.md), 2000-01-18: Brakes. On certain vehicles, the s\-cam on the front drive axles may experience interference with the knuckle stud as the brake lining wears. This would prevent the s\-cam from rotating through its full range of motion thereby restricting the amount of braking force transmitted from the brake shoe linings to the brake drums. Correction: Interfering knuckle studs will be shortened.
- [1999025](/recalls/tc/1999025.md), 1999-02-22: Steering. On certain vehicles, the tie rod end can pull outboard and separate from the tie rod tube due to improper thread engagement between the male tie rod end and the female tube. A separation of the tie rod end could result in loss of steering control and a possible crash. Correction: The complete tie rod assembly will be replaced on involved vehicles.
- [1996197](/recalls/tc/1996197.md), 1996-12-09: Suspension. NOTE: VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH EATON REAR AXLE ASSEMBLIES WITH ANTILOK WHEEL NUTS. THE WHEEL NUT LOCK TABS ON THESE VEHICLES MAY FATIGUE AND FAIL FROM CRACKING DURING SERVICE. THIS COULD RESULT IN SEPARATION OF THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY FROM THE AXLE HOUSING. A DISENGAGED WHEEL ASSEMBLY COULD POSE A HAZARD TO OTHER USERS OF THE ROADWAY AND ADJACENT PROPERTY. THIS CONDITION WOULD ALSO AFFECT VEHICLE STABILITY AND CONTROL AND COULD CAUSE A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: ANTILOK WHEEL NUTS WILL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH STANDARD WHEEL NUTS AND LOCK RING.
